Zorya

Essential Floex listenning experience. Album takes as symbol Slavic night guard goddess “Zorya Polunochnaya” explores more deep, subconscious and nightly moods of music. Very adventurous, almost storytelling album. Released September 26th, 2011.

This album is simply my favorite of all time. There is melancholy and ecstasy in here; there are stories and experiences and their feelings that lurk in your subconscious, occasionally surfacing in dreams, but always escaping grasp. The sonic detail that Floex crafts is so rarely seen in music, it may be more apt to call this album a sonic sculpture, a sonic painting, or a sprawling work of Gothic sonic architecture. The way I think about music has changed forever; my eternal thanks, Floex! (Rishdosh — Bandcamp)

Imagine Michael Nyman wearing a sombrero in a bath of Red Bull and youre on the right track. Amazing. (Spinger — Bandcamp)
